RETIREMENT It is with mixed emotions we announce the retirement of Jane Corbett, Customer Service Manager. She has been with Info-Matic Inc since January 1995 and has given us many years of dedicated service. While we will miss Jane, we wish her health and happiness in her retirement.
WINDOWS Info-Budget for Windows is currently in BETA testing and will be ready for release in May. Some features available in this new version are, the ability to have three(3) different proposed budgets, easily export data and report files and generate graphs which can be included on budget reports. Info-Pay for Windows will be ready for BETA testing in July with a tentative release date of September.
ST-3 CODES (DOS) If you do not have Info-Budget, be sure your ST- 3 codes are on your 2001-2002 financial year. When you initiate the new financial year in Info-Fund, the ST-3 codes will carry over to your 2002-2003 financial year. To input the ST- 3 codes select # 8 Account Code Maintenance from the Main Menu. Select #2 New Financial Year [02] and then choose #2 Direct Edit Account Codes. Enter the fund letter(s) and appropriate subsidiary ledger and press enter. Select option #1- "Edit Which Fields?" and press enter. Input the correct ST-3 codes in the last column. The format should be as follows: A1010.4, A1010.45 etc. If you have Info-Budget and have added new account codes, be sure to include the SBM-1 codes. When you initialize the new year in Info-Fund, the new account codes and their corresponding SBM-1 codes will be included in your 2002-2003 financial year.
(WINDOWS) To add or verify ST-3 codes on Info-Fund for Windows, select Account Codes from the Maintenance Menu. Press the last icon on the right to display the state code maintenance screen. Select the fund and ledger you wish to check and make any necessary additions or corrections. LOOKING FOR A GREAT STUDENT PROGRAM Info-Student Inc. is a full-featured student management program, tailored to meet or exceed New York State requirements. Attendance information for the SA-100, tracking of period-by-period attendance, discipline, and academic history are just some of the features of Info-Student. The program also offers an optional WEB browser interface, which allow users to input grades and attendance from any WEB browser. Since we are a New York based company, we can quickly respond to any additions or changes to new mandated requirements.
ENCUMBRANCE OUTSTANDING REPORT Now that most of the purchasing is completed for the 2001-2002 year, it is a good time to run the outstanding encumbrance report. Use this report to review all your outstanding encumbrances. In addition to this report, you should also run the negative encumbrance report. To print these reports, select Option #6 Encumbrances Outstanding from the reports menu. NEW WEB INTERFACE FOR WINDOWS BASED INFO-MATIC PROGRAMS We will be releasing a WEB based, limited access program available for all our Window based programs. Using the security parameters set up in Info-Fund, a user can create requisitions, access account code information, enter hours and days information for payroll and update employee attendance.
